It all started back in that unforgettable era known as Covid-19, when the world hit the pause button and everyone was busy hoarding toilet paper and baking yeast. We at One Try Productions, however, decided that instead of panicking in our living room, the far more reasonable option was to escape into freedom. So, we docked in the picturesque municipality of Chavdar—settling into a friend’s countryside house armed with several drones, a stack of batteries, and zero intention of slacking off.

Over the next three months, our daily routine turned into a full-blown aviation adventure. While most people were perfecting their sourdough starters, the One Try Productions team was painting the sky orange across the entire municipality, flying over every hill, rooftop, and landmark. At one point, somewhere between swapping another battery and enjoying a morning coffee with a view of the Sredna Gora mountains, a wild idea lit up: “Why don’t we stitch all of this into interactive 360-degree magic so anyone can take a walk here right from their couch?”

Without wasting any time, we went straight to the Mayor. We pitched the idea with our full enthusiasm (and likely a pair of glowing eyes), and to our absolute delight, he didn’t just listen—he embraced the project on the spot! About a week of non-stop editing, panorama “stitching,” and computer wizardry later, our very first full Virtual Tour of Chavdar Municipality was officially live and working seamlessly.

That was precisely when our second—and much bigger—spark of inspiration hit. We looked at each other and said: “Alright, one municipality was a great warmup… but why don’t we shoot all of Bulgaria?”

And just like that, 360tour.bg was born! From that moment on, wherever our work (or our own favorite travels) takes us, our 360-degree cameras and drones come right along. Because for the team at One Try Productions, Bulgaria is simply too beautiful to be seen from just one angle!
